My name is Danielle and I am an Eastsider with a love for the community! I have worked on various aspects of the housing spectrum including tenant advocacy, policy and legislation, tenant organizing, community development, and real estate sales. I started my career working as a mortgage closer with a local credit union and had a wonderful experience for 8 years. From there, I transitioned into residential sales and I could naturally feel my work become more and more mission-driven. I was in it for the outcome not just the income and was eager to find that balance in my work. I joined a non-profit community development company here on the East Side that paired my profession with my passion. Since then, I have had many opportunities to work alongside community members to learn and influence change that will impact our everyday lives and the everyday lives of our neighbors. In the future, I hope to continue to work alongside other community organizations, businesses and residents to positively develop our community through education, organizing and ownership!
