Social Media/Marketing Manager
Alexia Martin is an East Side Minnesota native who graduated in 2019 from St. Catherine University with her B.A. in Spanish Education K-12, and a minor in Women’s studies. She’s also a Central High School Grad #GoMinutemen! Her college years helped mold her as she held leadership roles, spent time listening to people’s stories, and had justice-centered conversations through a communal lens. She is currently an ESL teacher abroad in Colombia and serves on the Fulbright Noir board. As a Black Educator, Alexia values breaking cultural and financial barriers and providing equitable access for community members. To mobilize change, it is key to connect people to resources, opportunities, and various communities. The experiences she’s accumulated over the years, from being a college advisor for first-generation and/or low-income college students, to participating on a team that spearheaded a STEM distance learning program for underserved youth, have been pivotal to her growth.
Alexia is eager to join the ABC reality team as the Social Media Marketing Manager. In Alexia’s spare time she roller skates, paints, and knitting.
