Hello! it has been a while since we’ve last posted but we are back! We’re back and ready to let you know about what we have cookin’ this summer. From June 25th to August 13th ABC Realty and the East Side Freedom Library are hosting a film series discussing housing and labor justice. There will be three films and two discussions; Sold Out, which is a local film that discusses how affordable housing is under attack. Jim Crow of the North, that explores the question of “Why does Minnesota have some of the worst racial disparities in the nation?”. Detroit 48202, a film about a mail carrier who has seen how one neighborhood in the city has changed over time. This film series will be a space where individuals like yourself can participate in helping close the gap!
Come the end of next month the Minneapolis-St. Paul Home Tour will commence! ABC Realty has some hot, newly constructed scattered site homes up for grabs, one of which will be featured on the home tour! The homes are split entry, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with a 2 car detached garage. The Home Tour spans the entirety of the Twin Cities showcasing homes for sale in the spring market. The Home Tour is a wonderful opportunity for both home buyers and sellers to check out nice properties and highlight the hard work that went into showcasing their homes!
As this year has come to an end we here at ABC Realty have a lot we can be proud of.
In 2018 we listed twenty-three single family homes with a combined value of $5,352,300.00! We also sold $5,090,325.00 worth in single family homes! This year we we broke ground on phase two of the Village on Rivoli development and all the homes flew off the market! Our team has also seen changes this year with the addition of two new realtors LaShanna Moore and JaNa Dickens.
This coming January we are starting off the year by bringing to market five single family homes to the Payne-Phalen neighborhood. They will include four bedrooms, two baths and a two car detached garage for under $250,000! This fall ABC Realty is taking the big leap toward a cause that receives little attention in the media. Minnesota has one of the widest housing gaps between White Americans and Americans of Color.
ABC Realty is partnering with organizations across the Twin Cities to create a plan that will help with our goal, bringing more homeowners of color to Minnesota. Keep an eye out on our website for the official statement!
